Los Alamitos High School Chamber Orchestra is a high school advanced level performance ensemble that focuses on traditional, modern, and popular orchestral literature as well as music theory and music history.
Performances include the annual winter and spring concerts, All-District Festival, SCSBOA Orchestra Festivals, Segerstrom Hall, and Walt Disney Hall. Placement in to this ensemble is through audition.

JUSTIN PADILLA
Director of Jazz & Orchestra
Justin Padilla is a locally respected saxophone authority, clinician, and music educator. He has made teaching instrumental music his life’s work. For the past twenty-one years Justin has transformed music programs throughout Orange County and Long Beach into thriving, positive, classroom environments. Justin is a guest music education presenter at California State University Long Beach, California state music conventions, and was recently asked to conduct the 2016 California All State Middle School Honor Jazz Ensemble. He was chosen 2012 Oak Middle School Teacher of the Year, 2014 Los Alamitos District Teacher of the Year, the Orange County Music and Arts Administrators 2014 Secondary Instrumental Music Teacher of the Year, and 2016 Orange County Music and Arts Administrators Music Educator of Excellence.
